Post in this thread to reserve a range for LLR'ing. Report results the same way, and include any primes you may have found.
Code:
Range Reserved by Status Primes found 0.0M-0.3M Oddball complete 0 0.3M-0.5M Oddball complete 0 0.5M-1.0M Mini-Geek complete 0 1.0M-1.2M Oddball complete 0 1.2M-1.4M Historian complete 0 1.4M-2.0M Oddball complete 0 2.0M-3.0M rajula complete 0 3M-10M Lennart complete 0 10M-12M Oddball complete 0 12M-20M Lennart complete 0 20M-22M rajula complete 0 22M+ available Code:

A range of 1M contains about 500 candidates. Old posts in this thread can be found here: http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=13396 Last fiddled with by Oddball on 2010-07-29 at 19:26 |

The results from 0-0.5M are attached, in case anyone's curious. Just to clarify, 0-0.5M means k=1 to k=500000 in the stats page. So a reservation of, say, 1.7M-2.1M would be reserving k=1,700,000 to k=2,100,000.

As far as LLR testing goes, I've extended my range from 1.4M-1.7M to 1.4M-2.0M. No primes were found, results are attached, and the first post has been updated. I'll wait until a deeper sieve depth is reached before reserving any more ranges. Last fiddled with by Oddball on 2010-05-12 at 05:32 |

It's been quite a while, but 10M-12M is finally complete. Results are attached, and no primes were found.
I'll unstick this subproject since it's no longer a top priority. The focus should be on the variable n-range, which has a much greater sieve depth and the advantage of testing lower k's. Last fiddled with by Oddball on 2010-07-27 at 17:55 |
