There's more than one NASCAR?

Oh. How silly of me.

Dale Earnhardt Legacy Plate
Richard Petty Historic Plate
... and that's with not a single NASCAR track in the state AFAIK.

I just saw PRIME59 today. For a moment, I thought it said PRIME95.

Makes you wonder if PRIME95 was already taken and the guy settled for
"second-best"...

What state was this in (if you don't mind saying)?

Edit: though of course, 59 is prime, so it could be that the guy just picked a random two-digit prime and paired it with "PRIME" for his licence plate. Still, the coincidence is rather striking...

Was it a 1959 model year car? Maybe the driver was born in 1959.

I've decided that if I ever happen to find a new Mersenne prime, I will change my tag to read the hexadecimal representation of the exponent.

For instance, if M43112609 were mine, I'd change my tag to read 291D8A1. Would drive people in traffic nuts trying to figure it out, but also would be an interesting conversation piece...possibly...

Maybe also a magnet for smart babes...
