where people through immodesty or otherwise were invited to post a mugshot of themselves. Your post got me teared up about a lady who shared a house (along with 3 others) with me in London 1972/3. It would be fair to say her past was as least as colourful as yours! Perhaps we could initiate a similar thread. Love, David PS Jeannine Grisius. (Rwanda. Belgium, Luxemburg, Freiberg) And yes, I have tried Google. Yes, that looked like the Brazil most folks expect to see. Still, it could've easily ended a 2-2 tie ... the 2nd Brazil goal should've been disallowed as it was a clear hand [or better, upper-arm] ball, and there was another header by Ivoryu Coast in the 2nd half which was very dangerous.
Oh, and an Oscar nomination goes to the CIV player who got Kaka' eliminated [snigger ... sorry, knowing some Spanish makes the name "Kaka'" sophomorically amusing, especially in conjunction with the word "eliminated"] late in the game ... clearly that man has carefully studied the Italian school of my-face-got-ripped-off-by-a-phantom-foul playacting. One more reason the sport needs at least some limited form of instant replay, coupled with yellow cards and 2 minutes forced "injury time' on the sidelines for any player found to be faking it. LOL, the weekend's farcical soap opera in the French camp was just très amusant. |

I don't think so; he looked tired and also looked like he was having a legitimately hard time. If I recall correctly the Paris Roland Garros was also strange this way with some top seeded players having very hard times in early matches. I think (don't recall exactly) Murray had three very hard matches before being eliminated -- and his first match with Gasquet was like Federer's match today.

If I read the draw correctly, Murray and Federer won't compete together unless they both make it to the final round. So it seems likely that even the announcers will be spared the consequences of uttering their names in the same breath. (And so will you unless you read this aloud -- perhaps in a pub)

Nah.
Too expensive these days. Anyway, I'm barred from everywhere round here. (Specially the Bookies:) Last fiddled with by davieddy on 2010-06-22 at 02:13 |
