I'm curious... Would it be possible/worthwhile to set up a local LLRnet server to take advantage of LLR v3.8 to crunch on this mini-drive?

It can be downloaded from http://jpenne.free.fr/index2.html just like 3.7.1c.Nonetheless, if you have multiple cores to manage, an LLRnet or PRPnet server can be quite handy. If this is the case for you, see here--I've got a standing offer to host private servers for anyone interested on the NPLB/CRUS server machine, if you don't want to mess with setting up a server yourself. |

You make it sound like LLR 3.8 isn't available standalone. On the contrary, LLR 3.8 is currently available for all 3 major ways to run tests: standalone, LLRnet, and PRPnet. If you mean that you're currently running standalone but not 3.8, you don't need to switch to something else to get that boost. Just download 3.8 at http://jpenne.free.fr/index2.html and replace your executables. (Hmm, wrote most of that before I saw Max's post above this, so this is mostly redundant, but whatever.) |

I didn't realize it was available to download by itself. I thought it was only part of the package in the other thread. Thanks.
