Howdy,
A very minor, cosmetic problem here...Windows XP 64-bit is identified by the client as "Windows .NET Server". Could very well be that it's a 64-bit recompile of the .NET Server? Anyway, just thought I'd let ya know. BTW, the Opteron 144 (1.8GHz) does very well with the 32bit client...lines per day at 31.8 million range hovers around 7200. My Athlon 2700+ (2.16GHz) and Pentium 4 (2.4GHz) both get 4200-4500 lines/day in the same range. Has a 64-bit client been tested or would it even help? Would it involve a simple recompile of C code, or would assembly routines or macros need to be recoded? Just curious. Greg |
