The fast and dirty way is, stop the program, then delete the entire folder that it is installed in.

You can also, from the menu choose "advanced" then "Quit Gimps". Then after you have let it do what it will, delete the folder.

The usability from Prime95 isn't very good but participants don't seem to care too much.

I arranged with the software but for a newbie it's quite a challenge.

I guess the problem is somewhere else.

Prime95 is not exactly a program that you can fire and forget: you should know what you are doing.

I don't want to generate a flame-war, but I believe that expecting a result just clicking on an icon is not the best way to run a program like Prime95.

For people who just want to help without going deep into the material it might be a good idea to give them a `fire and forget`-solution.

I don't know... Usually people not interested in math stop after 15 days. These data come from my 10 years of teaming with GIMPS:

43% stop the program and start some nice screensaver-GUI project
38% format the hard disk
11% start asking wht's the meaning of it (and run away after 2 answers)
