If you set Manual Communication to "Do not contact Primenet server automatically" then will the box ever update itself. What if the exponent is completed, will it then try and grab another. What actually will trigger an action. Would it only be by ticking "Contact Primenet server now" and then pressing OK.
The reason I ask is that I have P95 running on a couple of borged boxes, and everytime they start up their box it tries to connect to the Internet via dialup networking. My borgees [sic] are not very happy about this. Is there any to set up the client so that it only tries to contact Primenet server when the box is online, or tries to see if you are online, and then when you are not it tries again at a later stage, but without trying to start up Dialup Networking. Thanks |

I think you can disable "use a dial-up connection to contact PrimeNet" in Test --> PrimeNet. Then it will try to contact primenet but it won't use dial-up.
Anyone that can confirm this? |

Make sure "Use a dialup connection..." is checked in Test/Primenet.
If that doesn't work try AlternateModemDetection=1 as described in undoc.txt of 22.10. |
