![]() Agreed, in the future I'll try to report a little more often on bases like this...when I first reserved S39 I severely underestimated the amount of time it would take and thought it would be done in a month or so. As it turns out, it took much, much longer. (Of course, about two months or so of that time since I initially reserved it was actually idle time because other work came up that took precedence over it, but it still took quite a while.)

BTW, what did you run that on? I thought your core duo and quad were pretty much filled up. |

Actually, when I first reserved S39 I was intending to run it on my quad through my private PRPnet server. However, at the time I didn't have the scripts available that I do now for processing conjecture results, so an effort like this with gazillions of primed k's stopped midway was not something I wanted to do via a server; therefore I did it manually with PFGW on my dualcore instead. |

Here are 124 new primes for 15k<n<20k since last update.
I've included the updated R35-reservations page, too. 841 k-values remain. |

Added R70 3 k's to the recommended base list for n=25K-100K reserved by Willem.
Willem, do you have a status on R70? It was reserved in mid-January. Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2010-08-03 at 17:37 |

S39 is done (finally!) to n=25K.
I found 182 primes in the n=10K-25K range; the primes are attached here, and the results will be emailed to Gary. Releasing this base.Interestingly enough, the very last test in the range, 151746*39^25000+1, turned out to be prime. Quite a nice way to finish off a very large range like this, hmm?

Mathew reported in an Email that R46 is at n=43K. No primes to report.
