Under Windows, to find out my IP address and other information about my internet connection, I open a Command Prompt box and type "ipconfig /all"
What is the equivalent command under Linux, please? |

All linux commands have switches you can add to customize output.
"ifconfig eth0" (no quotes) would give you a look at your first (probably primary) ethernet interface "ifconfig -a" (no quotes) would give a look at all the interfaces on your computer |
