Hi everyone,
I use Prime95 mainly to test the stability of the system and so far it helped me very much. I recently updated to version 23 and I'm having some problem when I run the torture test. No matter how much memory I assign to Prime (I have 1GB), the system will start swapping to the HD and off course the CPU can't be 100% busy because of this. I didn't have this problem with version 22 even when it was using 800MB of ram. I tried on different systems, but it behaves in the same way. Is it normal and is there any way to correct it? Thanks. I'm not sure, but I think the very latest version 23 releases deliberately modified the torture test to test the memory more thoroughly than previous versions. So that may be the cause.

Make sure you are running 23.7 or 23.8. Memory allocation in the torture test improved very recently.

I was using 23.7, but now switched back to 22.13.1.
