Okay ~1000 tests to do over the bothe files. No primes so far. They should be finished some time tomorrow. Should I then go on manually with llr or switch to prp with the new betaserver?
And if I stay, could I delete the lresults.txt then starting with a new file? Last fiddled with by Svenie25 on 2009-04-28 at 14:54 |

Your choice as to what to run. It's basically a shot in the dark either way. |

![]() One of my old arguments against LLRnet doesn't apply to PRPnet, namely that LLRnet uses an old version of LLR that's several % slower than the new version. This is one of the main things that sparked the development of PRPnet and the thing that sparked NPLB's adoption of it. |

Thanks a lot for the detailed answer. I think, I will stay at llr, at least for the next week. Your arguments for manual crunching are very good Mini-Geek. I´m thinking about them intensively. And they are very convincingly. :)

Been fiddling around with PRPNet with 2 cores. But I kinda like manual work so I'm putting one back here..

426K-427K finished. No primes. Resultfile emailed to Gary.
427K-428K will be finished in the next few hours. Maybe a stupid questions, but are these results counting for the userstats? Last fiddled with by Svenie25 on 2009-04-29 at 15:12 Reason: Added a question |
