Excellent. Speedy machines! The main thing that we will like to point out is the project name. If a test fails as a result of being overclocked too much or as a result of bad memory or other problem, it will miss finding a prime. We definitely don't want to leave any primes behind.
As Max (mdettweiler) said, most of the time, we won't be able to tell that it has failed without a double-check.50 C. Wow; and I used to struggle to keep my non-overclocked machines at < 70 C. Most are 60-66 C now. Water cooling obviously helps yours greatly. I was wondering if the shorter tests might be appealing to some of your group. You think those are short, you should ask David about some of our initial tests on our port 9000. The smaller tests were running in under 2 secs.! It was a tremendous workout for his servers to hand out literally 100+ WUs per second but it passed with flying colors! We knew we had good servers when it passed that "stress" test. Of course, they weren't top-5000 tests. They were only ranges that needed to be filled in below top-5000 ranges. Gary Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2009-04-21 at 05:00 |

Anything that takes less than an hour will do great for our team so I don't see any problem with the work unit length. Last fiddled with by Razor_FX_II on 2009-04-21 at 05:46 |
