Results were received from Peter Benson several weeks ago for n=479265-500K. All primes checked out against the top-5000 site and the k=300-2000 page.
In checking the results vs. our sieve file, 208 results were missing. All were for k=1005-1065 and n=479265-479468. I have now run tests on the missing pairs. No problems found. Karsten and Max, I'll Email you Peter and my results later tonight. Karsten, with this final effort, I have fully checked the k=1003-1400 range against your 300<k<2000 page up to n=500K. No problems were found. You can now post all k=1003-1400 as complete to n=500K. Reasoning: 1. Peter had begun his testing when n=200K was a top-5000 prime and you have now shown all former top-5000 primes on your page in that range. 2. Earlier this year, I checked the primes in his results for n=200K-479264 against your page. I just now checked the same for n=479265-500K. 3. Our 9th drive finished up n=50K-200K and your web page states that you have now filled in all primes for k=1005-2000 in that n-range. This effort with this thread is now considered 100% complete. No prime left behind! ![]() Gary Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2009-04-17 at 02:33 |
