Hello,
at the moment I use prime95 to Double-Check. I have Windows Vista, an Genuine Intel T2050 @ 1,60 GHz with CPU speed 1596,00 MHz, 2 cores and my "time per iteration" fluctuate between 0,289 and 0,111 sec. I am using just one worker window at the moment (because the Double Check is about 95 % ready and I want it finished as quickly as possible). Settings: Number of worker windows to run: 2 CPU affinity: Run on any CPU Daytime/Nighttime available memory: 256 MB multithreading: 1 (grey; not to choose) How can I get more speed? Is every setting at its best? Thanks. Last fiddled with by jmb1982 on 2009-04-06 at 23:10 |

Besides that... The settings seem fine to me, but like I said earlier, the large fluctuations indicate it is likely that some other process (or overheating/throttling issue) is using a lot of CPU. |

Number of worker windows to run: 1 Multithreading: 2 Other than that, check if something else is taking up the CPU. |
