This is going to make me look really bad, but the restriction of only submitting primes for the values that yield a prime after n=500 makes it into something much more than it was before.
You basically told me you didn't have confidence in my abilities, and then gave me a task that seems to require abilities beyond those you think I have. I think I may have frustrated you so much that you became mildly irrational in your assignment of duties. Forget about the tiny stuff, I'm going to try to find some ks that haven't yielded primes at low levels of n. And in terms of my computer, it's not broken, it was just having networking issues. Edit: And now it looks like there's no easy way to find out what the k-values are. I'm going to run some Prime95 ecm on Fermat numbers until things get figured out. Another outstanding post Kenneth! You are quite eloquent in your writing skills, especially for a non-native language!
![]() Jason, I didn't know that sending me n=500-2000 would be a problem instead of sending the entire n=1-2000. Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide to do. Gary |

Riesel base 3 k=3677878 is at n=370K still no prime. Testing times is around 3000 sec. per k/n pair. Continuing happily

My ranges have finished computing.
I just need to check for prp's not being prime, and sort everything out, and all will be done :) |

Riesel base 3 k>100M to k<=200M is completed to n=100K.
Following 85 primes is to report: Code:

Because of the automatic(?) subscription to threads caused by posting to them, I still get notifications when some threads are posted to. I'm in NO WAY complaining about that, but I seem to have noticed a comment about improved scripts.
I'm not going to complain if I'm asked not to participate, but I'd like an assignment to run on my 2.4GHz quad-core(q6600). :) Maybe a week's worth to start? I'll check back later on tonight, in about 7 hours or so. |

A huge amount of work completed Kenneth! You completed it long before our Riesel base 3 mini-drive I completed k<100M to n=100K. Great work!
![]() Administrative and balancing note: Kenneth had previously sent 26 primes for n=54K-68K. His cores had reached different limits at different times. So there are officially 111 primes for n=54K-100K for Riesel base 3 k=100M-200M and n=54K-100K. All will be shown on the Riesel base 3 primes n>25K page shortly.
