Maybe the remains of these ranges should be put on the llrnet server and the persons who reserved them could get new ranges with higher n? I would hate to see a prime in those old ranges... ;-) Quote:

I would love to help clean up any of the outstanding stuff. I am guessing it is about 10 more weeks before I am out of the current work. I did not consider the higher N value when estimating the time to complete what I have right now. Just need to find a prime to cut back on the number of tests to run.

![]() I'd rather not pull people off the firstpass effort to do the secondpass effort at this time. PSP's error rate is very very good from what I've seen. Actually during the entire time I have been doublechecking all of the errors I've found have been due to of my own overclocking. Also from Lars comments above he will ask for project help when needed. Divesting ones time from firstpass to the detriment of their stats is something you have to want to do. For either personal... , project value, or b/c you think it's a worthy investment of time. |

(As you probably know, English is not my native language... I get by OK, but sometimes my wording creates a bit of confusion). Thanks for the offer, but I'm sticking to PSP for now. :-) |

Could you weigh in over here? http://episteme.arstechnica.com/eve/...1#222003417931 Folks are trying to get to the bottom of this quickly... It would be a shame if folks are crunching double work. The admins at the project say "says it's impossible that rogue's client has done the numbers they claim to have." |

To be fair, the project administrators have never said this, not even something that come close to this. See their official reply here: http://www.elmath.org/forum/board_02....msg458#msg458 |
