I'm trying to help someone with Linux and (I think) MPrime who is getting error 2250 - the infamous network connection failure.
Entropia's DNS record for 'entropia.com' is missing, however 'www.entropia.com' is fine. For historical reasons the former is the DNS name used by Prime95. I'm not sure if that's the case for MPrime. Does anyone know? Or does it point directly to mersenne.org now also? (I can't get to the MPrime source code at the moment due to a firewall bug here.) If MPrime points to entropia.com, does anyone know if MPrime takes INI file proxy parameters that can redirect it to talk directly to mersenne.org? Version 21 of mprime points to entropia.com. Version 22 and later of mprime points to mersenne.org

The "strings" command shows a few occurrences of entropia.com in text messages:
