This is a known bug in the Linux version of LLRnet that shows up on Debian- and Red Hat-based distros. The solution is to recompile the client from source on an affected system, or at least use a client compiled on another affected system.

A while back I compiled one on my Ubuntu (i.e. Debian-based) system; I don't know why I never bothered to post it over here at NPLB. It's for the SR5 version, so it will work with any type of numbers. The only disadvantage is that is doesn't have a working GUI (this is not due to it being an SR5 version, but simply because I don't have the necessary libraries installed on the machine I compiled it from); however, there is a workaround that I have discovered. Send me a PM if you'd like the workaround.

Edit: Hmm, I just re-read Nugget's post, and I realized that he was saying that the SR5 version worked. In that case, Nugget, would you just happen to be using my above-linked build already? (It's the same one I linked to over in the SR5 forum.)

No, that was on my Windows laptop that I have with me on a business trip. I haven't tried to connect to port 6000 with a Linux machine yet.
