I don't know what's available over there Carlos.
I use a Motorola cable modem and I don't remember what I used for DSL when I was in California.
I would check around your area to see what others are using, and, check with your local telco company to find out what they recommend for standalone DSL modem with their equipment.

I use a SpeedStream 6250 modem/router combo--works great. What I like about the 6250 is that I can reboot it remotely from upstairs via the web interface, which is nice since my connection drops out numerous times a day (due to problems on the ISP end) and I need to reboot it in order to get it back online.

Okay, I'm submitting all of Lennart's results right now. Not sure if you already got these, but even if you did, no big deal--the worst that could happen is a bunch of results in the rejected.txt file.

Edit: I was just looking at the output, and I noticed that at bunch of results from early in the file were accepted by the server, while a little further into the file I'm getting lots of rejects. I'll still continue to send them in, of course, since I have no way of knowing which ones were previously received by the server.

Okay. How much is left? Right now both of my cores are tied up with Conjectures 'R Us work, but at least one (possibly both) of them should be freed up sometime within the next 5-7 days.

Gary said over in the LLRnet servers thread that he'd be back home around 8 P.M. CST and would probably have the server's hard drive swapped with a good machine by 10 P.M. (i.e. ~2 A.M. GMT). I'll get on as soon as I see word from Gary that the machine is up and running again and get the server restarted.

I'll be sure to post here in the forum when G4000 is back up and running.

To Kman1293 and Jokern3000,

C443 is almost finishing sending candidates from Drive 1. When you guys start receiving only work from K=341 you can shutdown llrnet, delete the workfile.txt and the z****, and move to another llrnet server to help there the Drive 1.

I suggest:

Got a new modem, it's a Linkys WAG160N so I will be installing it by tomorrow at 18h30 GMT. C443 should be down by that hour.
