Just a thought: Due to the wish to clean drive 1 out till the end of year, we could concentrate llrnet rallies, for example every week from Tuesday to Thursday, and, if we are short before cleanout on sylvester,a big "sylvester rallye". How about that?

Sorry,I meant "New Year's Eve". I didn't know that the word "sylvester" doesn't exist in English.

I've heard of "Sylvester" being used as a name before, but not as a "regular" word. Well, hey, I learn something new every day! ![]() On the topic of your rally idea: I like it, but I'm thinking possibly more people would be able to participate it the rallies were on weekends instead of Tuesday-Thursday. Maybe others could weigh in on this a bit so we can get a feel for what days are the best availability-wise? |

The rally can,for me,be on every day, but not on Sunday, because then I'll have to leave my computers turned off for various reasons.

I like the idea too.
Could others weigh in on their thoughts on this? The word 'sylvester' was also new on me. Does that originate from Austria where you are or some other European or Asian country? Note to Max: I'm going to be out of town on a business trip in St. Louis for 9-10 days starting tomorrow but shouldn't affect me too much. I'll just be on somewhat less. At least I can access all of my machines remotely now. ![]() Gary |

Oh, I probably should have mentioned this in my last post: I personally will be available to do rallies on any day of the week, so whatever works for everybody else is fine for me.
And I don't have any major trips or vacations planned between now and New Year's, so I don't anticipate any problems on that front.

Just for information:I've finally managet to set up my quad and P4 to crunch on IB400 via llrnet. And so i let it running for now
... I hope you don't mind that this means that k=325 is paused for some time... It's low priority,so it shouldn't matter too much.--nuggetprime |

I'd like to participate in the rallies to, but I already have all 6 cores on it 24/7 now, so does that mean I should stop running them until the rally?
