Hmm....are you sure? Last I heard I thought 5Ghz was the world record, and that was for a P4...

Wow. I guess all I can say is...wow.

I had previously seen a couple different videos on YouTube where people took Core 2's up to 5Ghz, and one of them stated 5.2Ghz as a "new world record"...but I guess I should remember to take such claims with a grain of salt in the future. Most likely they never did their research on this, either. (Or else the 8Ghz record had not yet been set at the time the video was taken.)

I forgot about the start of the rally but just put my cores on and they're crunching on C443.

Looks like Lennart is paying a little visit to IB400--thanks Lennart!

In light of this, I recommend that any new users add their cores to G4000 or C443 instead, so as to make sure that we don't crash IB400. IB400 should be able to handle its current load just fine, as long as we don't add too many more cores to it.

Barely enough and too close for comfort. Also, I'll still be leaving 7 machines on it afterwords so...time to make another reservation for port 400!

An extremely successful rally so far and I haven't even looked to see what ports 443 and 4000 are doing!
