Discussion about new Riesel base 3 subforum

There's that word "simply" that I despise. lol

That would be anything but simple for KEP. He would need to set up web pages for Sierp base 3 also and administer it all. I'm thinking that he wouldn't want to take on so much effort right now.

It won't take me too long to parse out all of the relevant Riesel posts...maybe 30-45 mins...less time than I mess with entering stuff and reserving ranges at PrimeSearch for the NPLB stuff. I'll be glad when everything is at n=600K there so I don't need to mess with that.

Oh, I forgot about the web page stuff. Yeah, I guess you're right--we should probably just stick to Riesel base 3 for the new subproject, and leave Sierp base 3 in the main CRUS subforum.

Oh, one more thing I was just thinking: KEP, what do you think we should call this new subforum? Just "Riesel Base 3", or did you have in mind something a little more...colorful?

I think I'll stick only to Riesel base 3, since this is the one that I'm really addicted to, also the Sierp base 3 is difficult for me to administer, since I've none of the primes remaining at n=25K listed anywhere. So I'll for now stick with the Riesel base 3

Anything catchy draws a little more attention, which is what you want. It is why I chose the names of the 2 projects that I did.

I think unless someone else has any other names to offer, names which sounds more cool or attractive, then just go ahead and request the new subforum from Xyzzy Thanks for your effort Max.

I think for now, the 100MB, I've at my Googlepage, is more than plenty to support this projects webpages. But if nescessary at a later stage, of course this is good offer.
