I'm pretty sure you meant don't try adding someone else's expo (because it's hiijacking right?)

Of the three assigments I have I found 1 that was NOT already a SUSPECT or VERIFIED LL by anyone else. That is the one I used.
I added:
Code:
[WORKER #1]
TEST=nnnnnnnn,68,1
to my worktodo.add file. Without the N/A

When it got sucked into my worktodo.txt file it did so EXACTLY the same...still no N/A but still no ID# either.

Then I remember what UncWilly told me last time...Stop and Exit Prime95 first. SO I did it again with this advice.

Now the assignment is added with the Key BUT ... it still shows up in my assigment list preceeded by V4_Computers.

Hrm... looks like the upgrade of primenet re-reserved one of my exponents to someone else... Not that I mind, but if it happened to me, then there will be probably be several exponents that will be double-checked in the coming months.

Code:
Registering assignment: LL M43422887
RESPONSE:
pnErrorResult=40
pnErrorDetail=ra: already assigned, exponent: 43422887, A: 1, b: 2, c: -1
Exponent Status reads:
Code:
43422887 No factors below 2^69
         P-1 B1=490000, B2=11147500
         Assigned LL testing to "ANONYMOUS" on 2008-10-27
I upgraded to v25.7 and registered on primenet v5 on 2008-11-07.

According to prime.log:
Code:
[Tue Oct 14 06:36:27 2008 - ver 24.14]
Sending text message to server:
UID: youli/FUSION, M43422887 completed P-1, B1=490000, B2=11147500, Wc1: 63D11D8D
Sending result to server for exponent 43422887
So somewhere between 2008-10-14 and 2008-10-17, primenet un-reserved the exponent.

Don't include the N/A, when putting lines into the worktodo.add
Yes, I did that, I removed the N/A in the worktodo.add file, just the copy&paste to the Forum was out of the worktodo.txt AFTER I tried the above. And as said, it didn't worked an the line with the N/A again was in worktodo.txt.

And I exited Prime95 before...

No, it's an exponent from my old v4 assignments.
ExponentStatusData 39960257No factors below2^68
P-1B1=465000, B2=5111250
Unverified LL60342FDA976C43__ by "Alexandre Paquet-Bouchard"
AssignedLL testing to "Phantomas" on 2008-10-26

But I think, Alexandre Paquet-Bouchard has hijacked it ....
But that's not the problem, I hope I will be credited for doublechecking.....

If all else fails, you can resort to finishing the test then manually reporting the result

I tried the same FreightYard process on another PC that had 5 assignments I wanted to get IDs (?) on them.

I copied them all into worktodo.add and restarted Prime95 but it only assigned a ID to the first one.

I had to do this 5 times to get them all.

I tried this method on three double check numbers and now they are listed twice in my worktodo.txt file and in the Prime 95 status. So it didn't work for me. I guess I'll unassign them after the first double checks finish.
