Hey All.

Yeah, I'm running (no pun intended) with 88-89M to 2^63. Leave it with me -- I'm doing multiple passes, and it would be easier for me to not have to worry about others grabbing exponents which I'm not finished with yet. (As in, to 60, but not yet to 61, 62 or 63.)

Thanks. Happy hunting...

I just checked the V5 work distribution map and see 667 exponents
assigned for TFing in that range. Since I haven't yet started on the
range, I'll abandon it and start on 91-92M to 2^63. Assuming my current
range finishes in four days, ETA on the new range is Dec. 10.

I don't see any notice in this forum or the LMH>79.3M sub-forum of
anyone claiming the 89-90M range.

Should the LMH>79.3M sub-forum be renamed the LMH>1G sub-forum
to reflect the new upper limit of the V5 server?

Graff, my apologies if I broke protocol. It's been a couple of years since I've been doing much mprime work, and I assumed (a** uf me) that LMH work was now being coordinated via the new server.

My bad...

No biggie, I caught the problem before any CPU cycles were used.
I think there will still be a need to list LMH ranges in this forum
(and the sub-forum) for those running on non-Prime95 platforms
like me.

I have been using the "TF to low limits" type of work of the v5 server to perform LMH-like work on an old Athlon XP 1800 (Palomino core). The server is currently assigning exponents in the 300M range, to trial factor from 58 to 61 bits. Those are very suitable bit levels for the Athlon XP. I found it a less messy way of doing LMH work, as the assignments and credits are automatically dealt with by the server.
I also have a P4-3200 and an Athlon64 doing TF work, but they are requesting regular "Trial Factor" assignments from the server.
