Actually, we found the bad machine when some duplicate (and non-matching) residuals showed up in Beyond's 400K-410K Drive 1 results file (from his internal LLRnet server) when I processed it. So, thus the bad machine was already weeded out by the time he started any further work.

I have now completed the double-check on k=47 and 53 up to n=600K as well as extended the new searched range to n=700K.
Previously reported: k=47 had 3 new primes and 1 confirmed prime. New report: 53*2^582078-1 is confirmed prime. Karsten, you can mark both k's as complete to n=700K now. Gary |

k=47 and 53 are complete to n=1M.
k=47 had 3 new primes and 1 confirmed prime all previously reported. k=53 had 1 confirmed prime previously reported. Beyond, for now, they're all yours. We can still take these higher if you want. I was thinking that you said you either started testing again around n=1.2M or tested from some lower point up to n=1.2M. If you have any specifics, we'll be glad to fill in any existing gap in testing. Gary |

k=147 testing for Max is at n=738K...nothing to report.
This is the only k<300 effort going on here that I am aware of. |

I have completed a CRUS reservation so am now putting two cores on k=289 using our 4th drive sieved file. The drive searched it to n=680K and I'll take it to n=800K at this time. It is probably a 100% double-check effort.
Once this k is past n=700K, all k<300 will be at n>=700K! My heart is warm: It had been a personal goal of mine that all k<300 would be at n>=700K and that k=300-1001 would be at n>=600K by year end. It looks like we're going to get there. Life is good! ![]() Gary |

k=289 is now complete to n=700K. No primes for n=680K-700K...continuing on to n=800K. The completion of all k<300 to n=700K and all k=300-1001 to n=600K is now a reality thanks to NPLB's 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th drives! This was the final straggling k needed to get it there. Weeeeeeeeeeee! Possible goal for the end of 2009: All k<300 to n=850K, k=300-1001 to n=800K, and k=1003-2000 to n=450K. Now THAT would be something! ![]() On another note: k=147 has now restarted on 2 cores. Gary |
