Where is 'M45'? - poll #2

Based upon a suggestion, in the attempted use of group logic:
The poll is designed to narrow the range down for where M45 might be.
Then in a follow-up poll, narrow it down further, etc.

For the purpose of this poll, M45 is being defined as the next mersenne found.

Of course we are using the convention of using the exponent, without the 2^ -1.

No guesses, predictions, or reasoning in this thread. Only voting and comments about the poll.

This is based upon the results of the previous poll.

The ranges listed are from the range in poll #1 that had the highest number of votes.

Choose the range that you think is closest to the actual.

I belled the ranges slightly 2-3-3-3-2. This was not to drive anyone any which way to vote, mainly it was out of laziness. I do suspect that the trend will be away from center. Any that voted for the ranges above or below this range will likely vote for the tails.

If there is a tie, or nearly so, the next poll may cover both ranges.
This one will run for about a week.

Since IMO the narrowing-down from the previous poll to this one is ridiculous, I simply voted for the interval that had the fewest votes, to help even up the numbers.

You should have withheld your vote, in that case. If the poll was a blind one that would be better.

Don't underestimate the power of voting to narrow down the location of M45!
