Ok, I put my Centrino laptop onto Prime95 (don't tell me about ruining my laptop, it is work's), and it is going really slowly.....
I then decided to benchmark it, and it reported a processor speed of 598Mhz. I figured the heat was throttling it. So I shut it down for the night, and tested it again in the morning. It still reported 598Mhz as its speed..... Anyone have any ideas Benchmark: Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1300MHz CPU speed: 598.08 MHz CPU features: RDTSC, CMOV, PREFETCH, MMX, SSE, SSE2 L1 cache size: 32 KB L2 cache size: 1024 KB L1 cache line size: 64 bytes L2 cache line size: 64 bytes TLBS: 128 Prime95 version 23.7, RdtscTiming=1 Best time for 384K FFT length: 47.209 ms.
