When you finish, please post the times as well as the results for our interest. See other threads for examples.

Can you check in any pending results in the 10.4M range right away?
The leading edge of double-checking has moved rather quickly into this range (partly due a large number of exponents checked out last night by Leggett/Dell_CPU2. |

One other thing, i haven't submitted these results to primenet yet, do you want me to do that as well. I didn't really think that it was neccesary as there was no factors in the 10.4M range. I will have the rest of the results submitted in about another 40 hours or so. (I live in Australia so I think that is the easiest way to say it so that people can work out what time it is)

I think 40 hours from now should be OK. There was an unusual flurry of reservations that pushed the leading edge of double-checking into the 10.4M range sooner than expected, but this seems to have rolled back partially.
The idea is to avoid sending in a P-1 result (even with no factor found) after the exponent has already been assigned to someone else for LL testing. |

Yes dave_0273 that's what I meant by times, thanks.
I think it's cool that the PC is blitzing through these so fast. Gives an idea to others who might want to commit to P-1 testing. It'd be great if that was an option in Prime95! I.e. under the Test menu choose PrimeNet, uncheck the "whatever makes the most sense" box, and check a new box "Request Mersenne numbers to P-1 check". (I know others have requested this as well.) |
