I second this request.

As requesteed by private email, specifying a starting exponent and no ending exponent (or start > end) returns data on just the starting exponent

The 'simple text report' output option is a really helpful improvement. Thanks!

Here are some suggestions for further improvement:

1) In the unverified exponents, could you output '00000000' instead of a blank when the error code is 00000000? Example:
17782733,Mike Kenig,Jandem05,D8919BF9418412__,
should be
17782733,Mike Kenig,Jandem05,D8919BF9418412__,00000000

2) Some users have commas in their user names. This really screws up attempts to read the output as comma-delimited. Example:
17782733,Walter D. Graham,III,C5C85C86C,A217232EF9CA9F__,000008FF
Could you replace commas in the user name with some other character?

3) The 10,000 row query limit is a pain. It took me 8 queries to get the complete range from 16266829 to 18000000, and then I had to manually stitch them back together to form a lucas_v.txt equivalent file. I realize from garo's comment that this may be a security issue, but arghh!

4) How often is the LL database synch'ed with the v4 server? Would it be possible to add a "Data current as of mm/dd/yy hh:mm:ss UTC" time stamp in the header of the query page?

5) In the bad test results report, could you include the error code?

Great work George!

1. For the font specification try putting in
Code:
style='font-family: Tahoma'
in the table declaration. It would be even better if you could create a separate css file and put all styling commands in there but I guess that's a bit further ahead. You could recruit some CSS guru from the forum to help you out with that. I have a basic knowledge but am not a guru by any stretch of imagination.

2. Regarding the CSV, would it not be preferable to launch a new window with absolutely no html at all? No side panels, nothing. Just a text/plain file? Other than that it looks good. Also for the text/plain file you could probably lift the 10k results limitation but I guess it would be hard to do at the moment. In fact, you could even just generate the old files again. For example, our current database update scripts at TPR are not working any more because they expect csv files.

3. Actually I did mean a pattern search which would search on username, computer ID and exponent among other things. But just username and computer ID would be sufficient I guess.

One more request: Can you change the report_ll to show user IDs instead of usernames? Gets rid of the comma in name problem and keeps things a bit more private.

The comma problem should be fixed (for simple text reports)

I'll add the userid vs. user name to my long list of possible improvements

An advantage of the User ID is that it is limited to 14 characters, the User Name can be very long indeed.

On the V5 server the shift value is missing, the Lucas_V.txt file provided it.

All query pages start with a default query and execute it before one can specify query parameters, is that not a waste of server resources ?

I rewrote my programs that crunch on the new server output. There is one extremely long name that required the programs too ignore the extra line generated by these long names.

I would like to ask to set the limit to 100,000 rows instead of 10,000 rows. If it generates too much stress on the server it can still be set back to 10,000 or so.

The limit should be 50,000 in text mode.
