 The PURGE seems to take a long time Carlos, might be the problem with your server going down for periods of time. The PURGE should happen in the background after forking off a process to do that or something. :shrugs: |

I was seeing the same thing, long time to do the purges.
Sorry for the disruption during the rally .... hopefully the next one will be better. |

How did you do that?
I'm trying to learn all this stuff so I can possibly setup a Server under Ubuntu to avoid the connection limits the Windows imposes. Last fiddled with by IronBits on 2008-02-25 at 05:22 |

Thanks! I did the patch and set windows to 1,000 connections. :)
BTW, I think I'm ready to give this 'real llrnet server' a go. I have everything in place on my end, now I need to know how to load up the server with some work. Then we can have a few folks test it out to make sure it's going to work as it should... Then if things work out well, we should be able to increase the amount of work the Server is holding . Maybe I can be a Master Server to host Beyond's insatiable pharmage for you guys, in time for the next rally. <LOL> Last fiddled with by IronBits on 2008-02-25 at 06:03 |
