It's run by a fast quad core with 4gb of ram.
tcpip.sys fixed to 1,000 connections and server set at 300 connections.
Carlos sent me a bunch of work, so feel free to hammer me for 24 hours to chew it up.

Next trick is to get MySQL and Apache loaded so I can run stats hourly if wanted.
Someone want to send me the docs on how to set that part of it up?

You can look inside "sql.lua" to learn the table structure. The pairs are added to the table configured in "llr-serverconfig.txt" and "sqlUsed = 1" needs to be uncommented. It's not too bad. I have not found a standard set of web pages for reporting stats. I did manage to set up some basic stats at http://nplb.rieselprime.org

If we can get it all worked out it will be much easier on karsten.

Even if we get stats like that on the individual servers, though, it won't eliminate the need for Karsten's site: it will still only be the place for combined stats (i.e. all the servers together).

However, maybe if Karsten can eventually get an automatic system set up on his site, he could set it up to connect remotely to MySQL on the individual servers, and then process the results from there...

Well... the idea is not to eliminate anything, it's to insert all the results into a single table in a central remote database.

The things that need to be worked out are latency, bandwidth, and performance over a remote db connection.

Ah, I see.

As for the latency/bandwidth/performance/etc., I would imagine that that wouldn't be a problem if, say, Karsten's all-servers stats updated, say, hourly, and culled their information from the individual servers' live stats at that time.

Can you send me some email on how to get this done?
I have MySQL installed. Uncommented sqlUsed = 1, and it couldn't connect to MySQL.
I'm sure I need to create the database, tables and user for it, but I don't remember how to do that manually any longer.
Got a script or template for me? ;)
