The PURGE seems to take a long time Carlos, might be the problem with your server going down for periods of time.

The PURGE should happen in the background after forking off a process to do that or something. :shrugs:

How did you do that?
I'm trying to learn all this stuff so I can possibly setup a Server under Ubuntu to avoid the connection limits the Windows imposes.

it's the function "prune", info is given in seconds ...

in the example above carlos set 0.5*24*3600 (12 hours)

for the windows limitation, you only have to apply the patch ! (see above too)

Thanks! I did the patch and set windows to 1,000 connections. :)

BTW, I think I'm ready to give this 'real llrnet server' a go.
I have everything in place on my end, now I need to know how to load up the server with some work.
Then we can have a few folks test it out to make sure it's going to work as it should...
Then if things work out well, we should be able to increase the amount of work the Server is holding .
Maybe I can be a Master Server to host Beyond's insatiable pharmage for you guys, in time for the next rally. <LOL>
