The following is a list of all exponents less than 28Million which are listed in HRF3.TXT but not in PMINUS1.TXT. The first few of these I already did before I realised that this forum kept track of these things.

In fact, I'll claim them all, since I'm zipping through them fairly quickly.

Unfortunately I just wiped out my mprime directory.
Fortunately I have a backup. Unfortunately it's several weeks old. Fortunately I ignored the advice about not submitting results to Primenet. My intention was also to submit them to mersenne-aries.silli.net (Belt and Braces). I won't be able to do that now, but almost all completed work was submitted to the server. The main loss is several days worth of queued stage 2 work Unfortunately I have no record of what results I returned. Fortunately one side effect of submitting the results to the server is that just a few days ago, I sent in completion dates, and the server assigned these exponents to me as test assignments. This is surprising because they have presumably not been released to the server yet. It is also useful because it is a guide to how far I got. The smallest assigned exponent is 27405181. Those listed in the top post which are smaller were probably completed earlier. Just the first few of those from 27405181 onward will have been completed and submitted. The bottom line is that I am now working backwards from the end of the list of assigned exponents until such time as I generate a new list from a new PMINUS1.TXT file. In the unlikely event that I get close to 27405181 before this happens, I will switch to other work. |

A mini-drama for geeks. It's got everything, good character, lots of suspense, multiple plot twists, a surprise ending.
Do you do screenplays too? ;) |

OK, I think these are all done, and submitted to Primenet, with the exception of those listed with footnotes 1 and 4. Many are now showing as done in PMINUS1.TXT. I'll wait for the next edition before checking to see if any of the others have gone AWOL.
James Heinrich, can you check the status of those listed with footnote 4? I'll do them if they've not been done (or if they have been but the results have been lost), but I don't want to do redundant work. Last fiddled with by Mr. P-1 on 2007-12-13 at 07:53 |

Three exponents AWOL from this mission have been included in the new one. This is now a completed mission.
Have you been able to check the footnote 4s? They're not desperately important, more of an irritating loose end. |
