Sieving the same Range unter Linux and windows

I have dual-Boot System, would there be any problem if I Sieve a range with a different OS?

Let's say I start a range under Windows, can I continue the range under Linux (I know that i need both clients *g*)?

If using sr5sieve, you would have no problems.

I guess the partition on which there are files has to be readable and writable by both systems and AFAIK only FAT/FAT32 can do that

Newer distributions such as Ubuntu 7.10 can read and write NTFS, too. Check with your distribution to see whether it has NTFS read/write access.

Great, it's a FAT32 Partition, so it should work, thanks for the answers!
