In the Scottish football ("soccer" to our colonial cousins) scene a few years ago, Celtic played Inverness Caledonian Thistle. In normal times Celtic are a rather good team but their opponents are, to put it kindly, not quite as good. On this particular occasion, they lost 3-1 at home and in a cup tie to boot.

What was the headline in the sport section of the Sun newspaper the next day?

Super Caley Go Ballistic, Celtic Are Atrocious

My personal favorite is the old [and likely apocryphal] tabloid headline about the escaped loony who sexually assaulted a washing woman and fled when her screams attracted help:

Nut screws washer and bolts!

That, and many more, available here.

A rather nice, and possibly apocryphal, article from The Times in 1901 documented the funeral procession of Queen Victoria with the words: "Slowly, and with immense dignity, and for the last time, Her Majesty pissed over Westminster Bridge."

Default Try this for size,as time =0,next time analysis

Begin at looking at the night sky,
and assume all time motion stops. Since the speed of light is the fastest,
one has 'c^-1 '.
But the object and the space seperating them still exist (and thus in time).
So inverse this (m*c)^-1.
One now has (mc^2)^-1, and all that can be left is the shadow of existence.
E=mc^2, look familiar?
Could this be an Einsteinian black hole?
Reversing the process might be interesting, to remember also, energy=work=
force *distance.

About 10 years ago I found myself on a flight to Amsterdam
with a load of Rangers supporters. They were going to play Ajax
in the European Cup. They sang (to the tune of Wonderwall by Oasis):

I said maybe
You should have kept Liam Brady
Cos after all
Celtic's won fuck all.
