Prime95 proxy

What are the available settings for Prime95 as far as proxying? Right now I have several PCs running at an office I don't go to frequently. There is a "gateway" machine using dial-up to the internet that has a proxy server running on it. Said server is capable of proxying HTTP, FTP, SOCKS and a few others but I have not been able to get Prime95 to connect to mersenne.org through it. Am I doing something wrong or is this just not built into Prime95 right now? All affected PCs are running Win XP and PrimeNet v23.6.

I've used a program called "SocksCap" to allow machines running prime95 behind the corporate firewall to connect through our proxy server. It's found at: http://www.socks.permeo.com/

The only problem with it is it doesn't work when you run prime95 as a service... You can setup shortcuts to launch it with sockscap, but I haven't found a way to do it as a service.

Yes. that is what I am using now. The problem is that it is running as a service so I have to come in and manually do the connection.

Since you are doing that also I take it there is nothing built into Prime95?

Guess I never needed sockscap
