I posted very small windows programs I wrote to stop/allow the console version of NFSNET in the Programming forum.
The source is included in case you need to change the path or want to assemble it yourself or for whatever other reason. nfs_stop.exe writes stop.txt in C:\NFSNET\processors\p0 nfs_go.exe deletes (if found) stop.txt in C:\NFSNET\processors\p0 When running the console version of NFSNET, if the file stop.txt is found in C:\NFSNET\processors\p0 at a checkpoint, NFSNET will stop gracefully and send in the completed part of the assignment. The stop.txt file needs to be deleted to allow NFSNET to run the next time. Windows isn't case sensitive for the path and filename. |

Thanks dsouza. Very intersting that you wrote that in assembler, haven't seen people use that for general apps in a long time.
