This is a set of ranges that are suitable for P4s. P4s do really well on factoring about 64 bits and not well at all under 62 bits. Also, please check the reserved ranges thread to make sure there is no overlap.
Code:
Start End Bits done 25M 25.01M 64 28M 28.01M 64 33.61M 33.64M 64 33.66M 33.67M 64 Last fiddled with by garo on 2003-10-21 at 00:49 |

The LMH status shows that only about 0.2% of the remaining exponents are factored to 64 bit. So it's still a kind of discrimination against P4-users who want to join LHM.
Therefore I suggest to reduce the suitable bit depth to 62 bit. 62 to 64 bit status have about 1.5% of the exponents and a lot of others are in work to 62-64 bit. Also important to point out that all this is only a recommendation and not a restriction for P4-users. After a quick view to the nofactor file I see the non-reserved ranges (all 62 bit): 28.0-28.1M 34.0-34.05M (some 60 bit left-overs ) 75.0-75.1M |
