If you ever need a throw away email address ( to receive email )
then just make up something of the form whatever@mailinator.com whatever can be anything you want that is a legal email name. Make it up on the spot, no creating the address beforehand mailinator it will accept all mail sent to it. It is the equivalent of an answering machine that only holds 10 messages. A message will last a few hours then it's deleted. There is no privacy, if someone guesses the address you used they can read the email. It will accept all email but strip away attachments. An email will only exist for a few hours. The email size is 100k max. The inbox holds 10 emails. Can't send email from it. Just check incoming email at the website. To check the mail use the URL http://www.mailinator.com/ No password to get access, attachments stripped off. If some site wants an email address and you don't want to give a good one because of spam ( or whatever reason ) or you don't care if they ever send any email then it is ideal. |

I go to spamhole.com and get an email address that forwards to my yahoo address for two hours (or however long you want it to) and then it is shut off and bounces all email going into it. That way, I don't have to remember any other passwords or accounts (the bane of our age).
