Install Prime95 into a folder that is not under "Program Files". Prime95 wants to write data in its home folder. The last few versions of Windows don't like that. They want it under 'ProgramData'.
I make a folder up at the root level for it (because some of the machines are shared by several users at times). You can do it on the desktop or in a folder directly under the user folder.
