Urm, no. One AU is the heliocentric distance at which a massless particle in a circular, unperturbed orbit would have a mean motion of k ( = 0.01720209895) radians/day.

The value of k is that...

Does that statement refer only to results reported via mfaktc? Whenever
I report factoring results in the 4M range, found factors always get
credited as F-ECM. A recent example is included below:...

You would appear to be correct in this thought. I'm currently factoring
in the 1.5-1.6M range, extending the upper limit from 2^61 (or
occasionally 2^62) to 2^63, and checking the entire range up...

The key point here is that the non-gravitational forces are not constant.
If they were, comets would be as predictable as minor planets.

Hmm. They've disappeared again. They were there when I checked
this morning (I think that was the last time I checked). I'm reporting

I should have checked the exponent status of M49252573.
Apparently, P-1 found a factor. So this is not a new problem.

Another server(?) oddity

I was assigned M49252573 for first-time LL checking. Before starting

system restarted, Prime95 aborted processing M49252573 and...

Segfault in mprime v25.11 build 2

This has now happened a couple of times: an mprime job running under
64-bit Linux has segfaulted. The problem seems to always occur immediately
after a factor is found via P-1 factoring.

for a new LMH range to work on.

against poaching than using the manual assignment form....
