From about October of last year to around a month ago the 30+ merits were generated in the same range (numbers around 85 digits). The Chinese remainder miner was just released about a month ago...

Seems like he takes a prime, subtracts 1, pulls the factors, then tests the prime against all those factors. Goes to the next prime? Repeats. Then dumps a ton of results....
