Ram required versus exponent for P-1 stage 2 in Mlucas

Stage 1 can be run to gigadigit or higher on 12 GiB ram, probably less ram.

Stage 2 is much more demanding of ram than stage 1.
A rough estimate of stage 2 ram required for successful launch is...

Optimal prp proof power versus exponent

Re prime95 / mprime at least, assuming enough disk space is available, compute-optimal proof powers are:

andSo power 10 is the best choice for first test wavefront through 100Mdigit and somewhat...

Default proof power is 8.
332323477 / 28 = 1298138.58203125, so 1298139 iterations.
332323477 needs an ~18M fft length. 200M needs ~11M fft length.
Effort is ~1298139 * 18/11 equivalent to ~...

Max exponent versus fft length

Mlucas v20.1 fft length, maxp (excerpted from get_fft_radices.c, subject to change)
Note, for 256M fft length and larger, -shift 0 is required. With AsympConst = 0.6, this gives the following maxP...

Looks like about every 2 bits on fft length is +1 on proof power. So (extrapolating in Mlucas fft lengths) that would imply power 12 would be sufficient to ~6.2G, ~1.87 Gdigit, not something of...
