From dh1 post it would appear that Rxd6 is better but there is a difference at move 36 as to what white plays. The defensive g3 or the aggressive Rfd1.

The goal of 25...b4 is to exchange our b and d pawns for Whites b and c pawns. This exchange would almost likly to include the queens as well.
