I'm letting it stay wedged until I manage to gather new relations + merge + remdups4 and gzip, which could be a few more hours at least. At that point, I'll again kill the msieve run and try again.....

I'm concerned that I may run out of uniques before hitting rels_wanted=2.9B. Perhaps it may be time to switch...
