I have been outdoors in 49C for quite a while in the shade. The humidity was <=3%. It was much more pleasant than the time I spent at 36-38C and 95+% humidity. The heat index for that was >=68C.

Technically it wasn't even a deep field. It was only ~12 hours. A deep field would need to be about 4 x 24 = 96 hours. Once we start seeing those (and I don't expect one until after the new year)...
