Should I ask Greg to kill this job and submit it under the corrected name? I’m just thinking of anyone data diving in the future.

But maybe Greg can change the name once the job is finished? That...

Yeah, this one bit me bad. It was an edge case 14/15, went with the lower siever cause it would be so much faster. :edit:

QUEUED AS 4m3_487

4-3,487 is another stub left after an ECM hit within the HCN project. This c169 is a straightforward GNFS job on 14d:

Thank you. I’ve put your job in the 14e siever.

Note that when a job is sieved on the rational side, no lss: line is needed. I’m not certain lss: 1 means anything to the NFS@Home sievers.

Thanks for posting this here. I’ll enqueue it shortly, but be advised that the line

lss: 0

is equivalent to -a when invoking ggnfs. (The default for NFS@Home is to sieve on the rational...

QUEUED AS 6m5_349

6-5,349 is a c169 HCN cofactor remaining after Yoyo found a p53. It has completed ECM to the t55 level plus another 3628 curves @B1=260M. It is best sieved as a GNFS on 14d.

QUEUED AS C167_3366_2234a

C167 from AS 3366:i2234 survived t50+ worth of ECM and is now ready for GNFS. Poly found with CADO, cownoise scored it 6.198e-13, decent for a C167.

I enqueued this job on 14d as C165_434040_3114 before realizing the Q range is above the notional threshold of 150M for this siever. Let’s just let it crank out here but in the future please...

Bolding mine.

Obviously this job is larger than the recently adopted paradigm allows, with 31-bit lpb and lims > 100M. But 14d IS running dry and we do need to feed the pentathlon beast. (Plus I...

I’d feel better running this as a 30-bit job, with the lims = 67M (which is less than the max lim of 100M for 14d).

Should I keep the same Q range? Or bump up Qmax a bit?
