DANG!! The 'none' team almost won. Blast it...and I lost ~240 pairs because my son put his laptop on sleep mode for the night. Otherwise us 'none' folks would have won. :missingteeth:

And where did Anon go? Darn it, we would have won with him too.

That settles it. Alex (AES), Karsten, Chris (Flatlander), Micha, and Mini-Geek (and perhaps Anon) are a REAL team for the next go-around. We're gonna WHOOP on Free-DC! :flex: Bring it on!

Agreed!

How many double-checks did michaf and I submit before we got it corrected?

michaf is also a Free-DC member. Do not underestimate the power of Free-DC. BTW, I shutdown 6 cores 10 min before the end of the rally.

Could you add a 333200 to the end of my results in similar fashion?

Maybe we should name the team "none".
Would the stats combine the team "none" with the - team? Would there be two listed as "none"?

michaf 2008-02-11 14:22

Yep, you were just the first to ask :)

Sorry for my absense, guys--due to personal matters I was forced to take a little "vacation" of sorts.

Karsten, nice stats! (Thanks for handling all that for me!) And thanks to all who contributed--wow, you really all put in a lot!

BTW, Carlos, could you please send me the updated results file? I'm sure there's got to be a bunch more that I can submit to Gary now.

Edit: never mind about sending me the results file, I found it in the stats thread.

mdettweiler 2008-02-11 16:02

Hey Carlos--I'm kind of confused. Do each of the results files posted on your web site go all the way back to the beginning of when we set up the LLRnet server? I can't quite tell, and I'll need to know that in order to be able to send in results to Gary correctly.

Edit: never mind, got your email.

Thanks everyone for organizing and running this rally. It was a lot of fun, even with my limited horsepower.

Will the llrnet server stay up long term, or will it be turned off once the current batch of pairs it has is done?

em99010pepe 2008-02-11 19:24

The server will stay up long term. The server has already some Top 5000 candidates.

So I can leave one client slowly crunching away...
