This seems to have something to do with the problem
It will open a port 500/socket ## and never close it...

I'm doing the reporting and debugging ;) I don't know any of them.

I don't quite get your drift--what exactly do you mean by "I don't know any of them"?

In the mean time, if you'd like to do some testing, as far as we know, ports 100, 300, and 500 are now running very well, the ranges in them are of relatively equal priority, and all have plenty of work in them. But once we post k=300-400 files for manual and LLRnet reservations, they will become higher priority.

No problems on:
port 100 at CRUS.dynip.telepac.pt
port 300 at CRUS.dynip.telepac.pt
port 5000 at llrnet.no-ip.info

dead as a doornail:
port 500 at CRUS.dynip.telepac.pt

That doesn't exist!!!

Obviously.
So where exactly is port 500?
Obviously.

this is the server form IronBits:
server = "llrnet.no-ip.info"
port = 500

current range: ~ 312.8k

AMDave 2008-03-01 12:50
this is the server form IronBits:

So IB is running ports 500 and 5000 ?

kar_bon 2008-03-01 13:22

yep, right!

server = "llrnet.no-ip.info"
port = 5000

is the new Team Drive #3
with 300<k<400 and n ~340.3k (upto 400k)

AMDave 2008-03-01 13:50

right. so for reference here's the combined set
-- server location
server = "CRUS.dynip.telepac.pt"
port = 100
-- port = 300
-- server = "llrnet.no-ip.info"
-- port = 500
-- port = 5000
I hope that makes it a tad easier for someone.

just made an overview in "Automated LLR testing with LLRnet",
will be updated every day, see there!

Edit: I moved it to its own thread at LLRnet servers for NPLB. --Gary
