I have completed a double check of Sierp base 6 for n=100K-150K. No problems with primes found. (The original 7 were confirmed.) I didn't attempt a match up with former PRPnet, LLRnet, and/or manual results because it was a little too messy to do so.

See my response in the Riesel drive. I'll post a single n=240K-250K file at the aforementioned time on Tuesday. In the mean time, we might need some more sieving for n=250K-400K on this drive. We need to run a PFGW test on a candidate for n=355K and compare that to the current removal rate of n=250K-400K with only the currently remaining 23 k's. It's possible we won't need to sieve any more because the original sieve depth was calculated using more k's and with far slower LLR or Phrot testing times. Gary |
As promised over in the Riesel thread, I've posted the big file for this side, for n=240K-250K. This one was a bit easier since all the k's remaining are in the file. :smile:

Attached is the sieve file for n=250K-400K with the current 23 k's remaining in it. After Chris has finished his currently reserved range, please use this file (minus any k's where Chris finds a prime in his range) for optimal sieve depth calculations as previously suggested.

I notice that my file for 224-226 includes k*6^226000+1.
I had assumed that this would be included in the next file, 226-228. Now that we are carving slices ourselves from a communal file, I think we should clarify whether we should stop each range at xxx999 or xxx000; to avoid missing candidates or a repetition of work. (Also for Riesels of course.) For instance, I have just loaded 375-376 (the end of my reservation) into PFGW for the Riesel side and never thought to include n=376000. :smile: |
